Should presidents do something other than create libraries when they leave office?
from stanley on 08/17/2015 06:44 AMThis "tradition" has become so entrenched, and even Obama who is known for being a bit more "modern" in his thinking is following this meme by creating his presidential library in his home town of Chicago. But seriously, do we really believe that Chicago doesn't have some darned good libraries already? Seems like a waste to me. What other lofty things could future presidents channel money into when they leave office as part of their legacy?
