Yes, more than once.

The most recent one was today.

I had a small (glad it was small), chocolate sundae that wasn't the greatest. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't that great.

When I bought sweets from an Asian store for instance. It looked yummy but didn´t taste so good. One sweet looked like marzipan but was like a dough texture instead and another sweet had chili inside it.

I wanted to try something new, so I ordered Seared Ahi, not realizing the fish would not be thoroughly  cooked.  I don't eat raw fish, so I asked the waiter to please remove the dish and just had coffee and dessert.  The waiter was nice enough not to charge me for the fish that I couldn't eat.  Now I just order dishes I'm familiar with.
