Hi Ang.  This is flaca.  I'm signed on as Stanley (don't ask: I'm responsible: I thought I needed a new name and Stanley was my nickname growing up: long story)  But I'm so glad to see familiar faces.  I look forward to getting together with old friends.  love flaca XX

Re: Is Greece still a country, or still is a country but not for much longer, or what?

Argentina did a go-it-on-your-own as did Iceland.  They survived.  However Greece is a small economy.  Tourism is probably their main industry.  But they do have those islands.............  I think they will learn their lesson about being too "giving" to their populus, but I think the best thing for them is to leave the Euro.  If they stay it will probably be worse for them.  But who knows.  We'll see.  Every country is allowed an "eff-up" none of us has ever done everything right in the past.  I wish them well.

Hi Sister, this is flaca.  I've logged on as Stanley (I thought using my old name would cause problems: I was wrong).  Stanley yes is a male name and I'm female but it was my nickname growing up because of a famous person in the UK who shared my last name (it's a long story).  So Stanley = Flaca.  I missed you.  It took me ages to find this site.  I'm so glad to be back among old friends.

For Independence Day I've been invited to some grill-up with peach cobbler as dessert. So naturally I'm after the peach cobbler.

I think it especially decent that American folks would allow the enemy in their camp!!!  Love flaca XX

Re: What technical inventions would you like to have invented?

I'd like to see a darned good toaster.  Seems such a paltry thing, but in my experience there is no such thing as a good toaster.

It's time Mr. Dyson tackled this topic.
