from Bozette on 07/02/2015 09:50 AMGood point Greg. There was a lot exposed on SH. That's one thing I haven't really found on any of these other sites. And the thing was, SH had such a diverse range of people - yes, there really was - that many that would probably never had been exposed to some of that info were made aware. And the subjects being exposed also varied widely. That is really what I miss most about the site. I happened across a lot of things that prompted me to do further research, which I often shared on there with others.

This one is a working lighthouse in Eagle Harbor, Michigan on Lake Superior that has very special significance to me due to family.

from Bozette on 06/14/2015 02:07 AMIt all depends on what it is. For me, writing things down helps, even if I never look at it again, the act of writing it helps. I am terrible with names...I mean I can forget a name within seconds of being introduced, so saying it immediately helps. If I am introduced to Wade, for example, by saying, "It's nice to meet you, Wade." that helps. An odd one for names is to look down at their shoes...i recently was told this...and it does help. Good luck to your friend.

from Bozette on 06/11/2015 04:53 AMTQ had a good suggestion...my concern is less about the name (hey, I was a "SodaHead" for many years...doesn't really show I am picky in that respect, now does it? Lol) than about how it is administered. IMHO...give a block feature and let the chips fall where they may...if someone is a sock/troll or annoys you in some way - block them - end of story. No need for admins to babysit. Just my opinion...
