What is a good way(s) to remember information that is hard to remember?

Not me, but someone else I know, has a job, where she has to remember stuff, she remembers some of it, but not all of it. She would like to remember more of it. I hope she keeps her job, but I don't know, yet.

It all depends on what it is.  For me, writing things down helps, even if I never look at it again, the act of writing it helps.  I am terrible with names...I mean I can forget a name within seconds of being introduced, so saying it immediately helps.  If I am introduced to Wade, for example, by saying, "It's nice to meet you, Wade." that helps.  An odd one for names is to look down at their shoes...i recently was told this...and it does help.  Good luck to your friend.

I carry a note book with me, comes from the years in the cop shop. If it is important I jot it down.
