Do you have a favorite mistake, or not, or do you prefer to not to say at all?

We all make mistakes. Do you have any mistakes, that you consider to be your favorite mistake?

Re: Had any scary experiences, recently?

from EternalSailorSol on 06/20/2015 05:12 AM

There was a hail storm with thunder where I live (earlier) today (June 19th, 2015). Nothing bad happened, but it could have been bad, concerning what the weather conditions were outside.

Had any scary experiences, recently?

from EternalSailorSol on 06/20/2015 05:10 AM

All (or most of us) had scary experiences in the past.

Anything recent?

Re: What are your top 3 favorite shows?

from EternalSailorSol on 06/20/2015 05:06 AM

I am not much of a TV person. The old TV shows that I like (that no longer air new episodes) are: Darkwing Duck, Sailor Moon (the english one in the 1990's), and Goof Troop. They are others, as well.

We (me and my parents) didn't, the previous owner named him. We got him from her (the previous owner).

Tips to Healthy Eating on a Budget
- Plan menus, reduce trips to stores and costly order in food;
- Shop with a friend, buy in bulk (if possible), split food costs;
- Use flyers to find sale items and buy with coupons where possible (make sure you read the coupons carefully before using them);
- Buy produce and/or meat on sale, eat immediately, cook and/or freeze;
- Double up on recipes (for example: stew) freeze half for another day;
- Buy yogurt on sale and freeze for use later in your fruit smoothie;
- But berries and other fruit (that freeze well) in season and freeze for later use;
- Choose no name cheeses;
- Use dried or canned beans, lentils or tofu to stretch a meal;
- When expensive vegetables that freeze well are on special, but plenty. Just make sure you freeze them in the day you buy them!;
- Make fun food like pizza or nachos - buy wholegrain dough or multi-grain nachos and add lots of vegetables (tomatoes, onions, etc.) and cheese (meat an option);
- Milk powder can be half the cost of regular milk and is easy to store, or by regular milk on sale and freeze for later use;
- Join a community garden or community kitchen in your area to have access to healthier food, meet friends, and develop new skills.

One Crack Trick for Reviving Stale Bread
If you've ever let a loaf of bread get so stale that it won't even make decent croutons, you know that shameful feeling that comes with throwing it out. Be ashamed no longer: This life-changing (we really mean that) tip for reviving stale bread is so effective, we can't believe we hadn't discovered it sooner. Here's how save your next loaf that's going south.

1. Be Sad; Your Bread Has Gone Stale
Let's get one thing straight: Bread that's gotten moldy is beyond repair. So sad. Compost it and move on. But if your loaf has just gotten a little crusty and tough, there is hope. Read on.

2. Stick the Bread Under Water
This step might seem terrifying at first, but stay with us. Turn on a faucet of running water—either hot or cold will do—and stick that loaf of bread right under it. Try to position it so the exposed or cut-side is facing away from the faucet, but if the loaf's interior gets wet, fear not. Food director Carla Music has performed this trick with a totally saturated loaf to great success. Don't be timid; get the crust good and wet before proceeding.

3. Put the Bread In the Oven
If your oven has a "warm" setting and you've been waiting to use it, this is your moment. If not, just set it to 300-325 degrees and pop the bread in the oven, directly on the rack. Set a timer for 6-7 minutes, depending on the size of the loaf—or 10-12 for a super wet loaf (like one whose interior has gotten drenched). What emerges will be a good-as-new loaf: Moist on the inside, crackly-crust on the outside.

4. Be Happy! You Now Have a Fresh Loaf of Bread
What is this trickery? How does this all work? The water turns to steam, which rehydrates the bread's crumb, or interior, while the heat of the oven firms up the crust. As a bonus, your kitchen smells great. Now grab that jam—we've got a loaf of bread to eat.

Okay, I managed to open one of those links (this site needs to fix that issue). It sounds like you may be listening to a false prophet. Please ignore my previous comment, (about this topic). Thanks.
