Re: Why is xsodaheads.com bias?
from Seonag on 06/28/2015 03:23 PMThat poll you refer to has has been on the Home page since the day I joined on 6/6. You'd think "the powers to be" would replace it by now.
Re: Do you like Hersey’s Chocolate?
from Seonag on 06/18/2015 02:58 PMDefinitely LOVE Hershey's Chocolates --- especially their syrup in milk, Kisses (Dark Chocolate) and Hershey Bars! I'm also a fan of the Lindt Dark Chocolate.
Re: Is Windows 10 (as a laptop) any good?
from Seonag on 06/17/2015 02:24 PMI've been running Windows 8.1 for about a year now and, once I got used to some changes over 7, I like it. I'm not sure about Windows 10 since I understand it actually won't be released until July 29. You would have to buy Win 8.1, but you can reserve a free upgrade to Win 10. Go to c/net for information on Windows 10:

Re: Do you think you should be able to fly the American flag on your porch?
from Seonag on 06/16/2015 02:39 PMYes, definitely. If his mother, who owns the condo, has written permission to fly the flag, then he shouldn't have to take it down, especially when it is properly displayed.
Re: Climate "scientists" caught falsifying data AGAIN
from Seonag on 06/14/2015 03:10 PMHow can 'Climate Change/Global Warming' be Settled Science, as President Obama insists, when the scientists/researchers have to keep falsifying data? It's all about 'control of the masses' as far as I'm concerned.
Re: Do you think US Senator Bernie Sanders is the next President of USA?
from Seonag on 06/14/2015 02:57 PMThe Clinton Machine won't even let him win the primaries. He'll never make it to the general election.
Re: Please treat June 12 as your last day.
from Seonag on 06/12/2015 04:19 PMI don't think we'll see much difference at first. But I do expect to see FEDERAL TAXES added to our internet service bills --- another way to TAX us!
Re: Black Reverend Threatens Police With Terrorist Attacks Over Texas ‘Pool Party’
from Seonag on 06/12/2015 03:46 PMPersonally, I am tired of people convicting others based on little or incomplete information, which appears to be the case here. There are a lot of allegations out there and it is up to the police now to determine what appears to be the truth. The full, uncut, 7:36 minute video is available on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6tTfoifB7Q
Allegations (depending on who you listen to):
1. It was a private party at a private pool in a private subdivision
2. OR it was a public party (via twitter) – all invited at a private pool.
3. Community security attempted to enforce 2 guests per resident into pool area.
4. Some youths denied admittance to the pool tried to climb the fence.
5. Police were called.
6. Only black kids involved or was it both black and white kids involved? (Videographer is white and he admitted on TV his 'invite' came via twitter. In addition full tape shows white youths present.)
7. Some youth outside pool area asked (told?) to sit down so they could be questioned. Other youths were told to LEAVE.
8. Some youths ran rather than take a seat.
9. Some youths mouthed off, including the female youth who was eventually wrestled to the ground when told to leave.
10. Female black youth refused to leave and then refused to sit.
11. Video does show police officer trying to get the girl to sit on the ground.
12. Video does show 2 youths coming up behind the police officer and one moving his hand behind his back. (Those 2 youths were eventually taken into custody and then released.)
13. Officer did draw his weapon, but never pointed it at anyone --- pointed at ground and holstered within 8 seconds of pulling it when 2 other officers ran up and went after 2 youths who tried to interfere. (I'll note one prominent black lawyer said the video showed the officer pointing the gun at the 2 youths and chasing them around the tree --- which it does not show.)
I recall allegations that turned out to be false (and in some cases outright lies) that were made to the media regarding the alleged 'gentle giant' Mike Brown --- and some posting on this thread were repeating the statements that he was 'shot in the back,' 'he was knelling with his hands up,' 'he never attacked the police officer' and that it was fully racially motivated Upon full investigation that all turned out to be wrong. Even the DOJ couldn't bring charges. Yet, the media and the continued repeating of the race based lies ended up in all but destroying Ferguson, MO.
And now, in Baltimore, it appears that the police were following a directive of the Baltimore State Attorney to crack down on drug problem at the corner where Freddy Grey ran, was chased and arrested. At no time did the BSA state that when she made her media charges to the press.
Let the investigation play out and all the evidence and testimony is gathered before condemning anyone! Making death threats on the officer, his family, community members who speak up about what was going on that doesn't meet the 'racial profiling agenda' of some needs to be stopped! Those making these threats should be prosecuted!
In every case recently, if the people involved had followed the instructions of police officers on the scene none of these incidents would have escalated.
Re: Was SodaHead forced to keep us out?
from Seonag on 06/08/2015 03:50 PMI'm thinking along your lines, Kara. I strongly suspect that it's part of the control of ideas that conflict with the Administration and the Leftest ideals (remember SH is based in California) and the Administration/Federal takeover of the internet probably had a lot to do with it. I, therefore, don't buy Fef's reasons as posted on the FB - SH site. He and his co-founders sold the company but he was kept on. I'm sure costs are an issue, but over the years (I'd been a member since April 2007) the ads had increased. They had to be getting money there. And I suspect that many of the regulars might have considered paying a small fee to use the site (and would have kept off a number of the socks and those like the infamous "jean."
