Re: Besides what SodaHead had done to us, have you had other situations in your life where you never got a chance to say Good Bye?
from JohnT on 06/07/2015 01:46 AMLife throws many curves and those of us that have dodged them and have faced them are used to things not going as we planned. I never thought my mother would be gone when I was eleven, never had time to say anything to her.
I lost a few good friends in Combat and my brother in law who was only 45 to a massive heart attack. Perhaps that is why I don't care that much about the worlds problems/politics. We need to live each day with care and like it could be our last one.

Federal Court Denies D.C.'s Request for Delay in Concealed-Carry Case
By Woody published on May 29, 2015 in News
On May 28, 2015, the federal district court judge handling the Second Amendment Foundation's (SAF) challenge to the District of Columbia's "good reason" concealed-carry permit requirement denied the city's request for an immediate administrative stay of his ruling last week granting a preliminary injunction against further enforcement of the requirement.
SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb said in a statement, "The Second Amendment Foundation is pleased that the court ruled immediately against the city and has forced them to start issuing carry permits. By now they should realize that when we say we will do everything in our legal power to force them to recognize that people have Second Amendment rights, we mean it."
The city has required concealed-carry applicants to provide justification for wanting a permit to carry firearms outside the home for personal protection. Judge Frederick J. Scullin Jr. ruled that the requirement "impinges on Plaintiff's Second Amendment right to bear arms," so the city would have been legally required to start offering carry permits under more lenient rules.

Re: Have you ever have seen a 5-Way Stop Sign?
from Freeranger on 06/07/2015 01:29 AMMatter of fact I have one just down the road a couple of miles. Crosby, Stills, and Nash could only come up with a four.

Re: What is your favorite color?
from Freeranger on 06/07/2015 01:23 AMI think I'm more attuned to earth colors......but, two come to mind: Green for the forest which surrounds my home, and blue (though not an earth tone) for the sea that I've spent my life along.
