Re: Old Soda Heads

Re: Was SodaHead forced to keep us out?
from Seonag on 06/08/2015 03:50 PMI'm thinking along your lines, Kara. I strongly suspect that it's part of the control of ideas that conflict with the Administration and the Leftest ideals (remember SH is based in California) and the Administration/Federal takeover of the internet probably had a lot to do with it. I, therefore, don't buy Fef's reasons as posted on the FB - SH site. He and his co-founders sold the company but he was kept on. I'm sure costs are an issue, but over the years (I'd been a member since April 2007) the ads had increased. They had to be getting money there. And I suspect that many of the regulars might have considered paying a small fee to use the site (and would have kept off a number of the socks and those like the infamous "jean."
Re: Can you judge a person by their handshake?
from Lady on 06/08/2015 03:49 PMI agree, you can't really tell. Some folks just don't realize they don't have a firm handshake. Then there are the "bone crushers" and it hurts especially if you have arthritic hands.
Great question. Glad to see you found us ex-pats here!

Re: How long were you a member on Sodahead?
from Budwick on 06/08/2015 03:41 PMThe FIRST time I registered was in 2012. I pissed someone off early this year and re-registered.
Cool to see familiar SH names here - friends and others. I wonder if the paid bloggers will make the trip!

Re: Can you judge a person by their handshake?
from JohnT on 06/08/2015 03:27 PMYes and No. With some you can tell by a weak handshake and no eye contact that that they are uncomfortable with people in general, but with others it may mean nothing and you need to know them for awhile to see that they have a strong character but are not into the preliminaries of introductions. No one handshake is a indicator of the person.

Re: Do you prefer Pizza or Lasagna or both?
from Seonag on 06/08/2015 03:15 PMBoth! I'll make a big dish of lasagna, then divide it into serving portions and freeze. Great for reheating for a quick meal! We do Pizza every other Saturday night.
