10 for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.
As for the Spirit.. our spirit is nothing more then the breath of life God gave us, that's it. it doesn't live on after death,
"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Genesis 2:7. "The body without the spirit is dead." James 2:26. "The spirit of God is in my nostrils." Job 27:3.
