What foods are good for your teeth?

My teeth I am concerned about. I have no cavities, so far, but that may or may not change, in the future, due to a soft spot the Dental Hygienist found.  I heard cavities are painful. I know what cavities are, and that they need filings. But I never experienced a cavity, yet.

There are lots of things you need to do, they say brushing 2-3 times a day, use mouthwash a few times a day even if you don't brush cause it kills the bacteria which if you swallow it too much can cause heart problems down the road, I just found this out, did not know that. The biggest thing & most esstential is that you floss, that the dentist says you need to do every single time you eat. All the things Laurel listed is true too. It's really about being persistent about all these things & not slacking off about it. I did that & it hurt me in the end but then it didn't matter too much either cause my ex took care of what I didn't take care of. If you do these things, you should be alright & oh yeah if you like water & don't mind drinking it mostly, then that's another really good thing too cause the acid from drinks can damage your teeth too & if you drink too much of it, they say it doesn't matter if you brush & floss it won't matter over time, most especially soda, that is the worst for your teeth.
