In many cases, there are other, more serious causes than simple sweating, an irritation of the skin, itching powder, or, for instance, mosquito bites; clothing elements, their fibers (wool, for instance), their dyes (especially certain azo dyes), labels or other accessories, sometimes washing and cleaning agents, can cause bad itching and even allergies. Furthermore, certain skin problems can also cause quite a lot of troubles and might require a balm, lotion or a medical therapy.

Kidding, I usually just find a way to scratch that body part without making it blantantly obvious to others.
